SDMyers employees make origami cranes for child with cancer
Tallmadge, Ohio
An SDMyers employee's son, Dorian, visited the SDMyers Training Center to teach attendees how to make origami cranes. He then challenged SDMyers employees to make 212 cranes to help him reach his goal of making 1,000 cranes for Jackson, a kindergartner at Richardson Elementary, who is fighting his second battle with brain cancer. Dorian has made more than 500 paper cranes. A Japanese legend says that when a person reaches 1,000 paper cranes he or she is granted a wish.
