Changing the DryMax–E Media

DryMax–E’s drying media is easily changed to continue the drying process. Order drying media bags (50 lb. each) from SDMyers without worrying about costly shipments of entire columns.

Step 1 - Remove Oil

Step 1: Remove the oil from the column with air compression into a 55-gallon drum.

Step 2 - Remove the saturated media

Step 2: Remove the saturated DryMax media from the column into the media removal pan.

Step 3 - Fill the column with new media

Step 3: Fill the column with new DryMax media through the top fill port.

Step 4: Fill the column with oil using the drum pump and restore service on the transformer.
